1975

C.V. Fajar Indah started as a home industry in Bandung which supplied defense apparels for Indonesia’s National Army (TNI).

 

1976

From hat production, C.V. Fajar Indah expanded its production lines to supply the needs of Indonesia’s Army (TNI-AD), Naval (TNI-AL) and Airforce (TNI-AU)

 

1980

C.V. Fajar Indah kept growing and became a specialized garment producer for Armed and Police Force.

 

1987

Added various products such as Army and Police uniform and accessories.
First production facility established in Warung Muncang with 1200 m2 land areas and 2300 m2 production building.

 

1988

Trusted to become Rosenthal representative for the 1988 Non-Aligned Summit.
Jakarta branch office opened at Jalan Kunir, Jakarta Barat.

 

1997

Production of the first generation of anti-riot apparel.

 

1999

Research and development for ballistic/bulletproof products.

 

2001-2002

Production of the first ballistic vest with Farin Armour trademark.
First use of Farin Armour ballistic vests in DOM operation in Aceh.
Replacement of the manual cutting method with cutting-press machines.

 

2004

First ballistic vest exports to the Philippines Army.

 

2005

OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) services started.
Jakarta’s marketing office opened at Permata Hijau.

 

2006-2007

First production of Level IIIA bulletproof vehicles.
First production of floating armour vests.
Second production facility at Gempol Sari began operational.
First production of anti-stab vests.
Production of bulletproof glasses and anti-fragment bomb for EOD started.
Export of bulletproof vests and body bags to Australia started.

 

2008-2009

Further research and development of anti-riot gears and equipments.
Tactical Anti-riot Gears and Apparels (T.A.R.G.) launch.
First use of laser-cutting technology.

 

2010-2011

Exports to the Royal Thai Army and Navy started.
Collaboration with DuPont USA for ballistic helmets research.
Launch of anti-riot batons and shields.
Development of high technology anti-riot gears including Helmet Rail Mount, NVG Mounting and Fast Clip.

 

2012

Barrier shield with electric-shock technology developed and launched.
Third production facility at Batujajar, West Java, began operational.
Export of ballistic helmets to the Philippines Army.

 

2013

Gun oil product launched.
First export to Macau Police Department.
First production facility increases production.
Export of bulletproof helmets to the Malaysian Army.
Production of Level IV ballistic shield began.

 

2014

First export of ceramic armours to the Philippines Army.
First production of Level IIIA ballistic shield.
