Description

URANIA is a digital day and night military camera designed for use with armored vehicles. It offers 4x magnification particularly suited for use on armored vehicles for observation and targeting in day and night. URANIA is fully tested according to international standards for armored vehicles.

The system uses a uniquely designed ICMOS sensor for night vision that includes an image intensifier tube coupled to an optimized global shutter CMOS sensor, resulting in unique optical performance. The video is sent over Ethernet, while control is implemented over CAN bus. Fully customizable design, including the video protocol and overlays, for service in a wide variety of platforms.
